Mum and I just went for a walk and we’re walking along casually and then suddenly there’s a skid and Mum jumps back then yells “JAC, STEP BACK” and then she pulls me back and there’s this massive brown snake a few inches from where we were standing. Mum’s then clinging to me and shaking and I’m giggling because her words rhymed and then I started singing a song about it.

“JAC, STEP BACK, WE’RE ABOUT TO BE ATTACKED, WHY DIDN’T WE BRING A BAT?”
